Fasting : Day 2

Although I'm not fasting, still I had to wake up early as 3am to prepared sahur for my husband. Lucky to have a husband yang tidak cerewet pasal makan. Masak sardin dalam tin pun boleh. huahuahua..

And as for sungkai, I cooked Tom Yam Putih Ayam ( I bet its doesn't looked like that..hahaha), Tofu Sos Tiram and fry vegetable. I'm not good with cooking even nama masakan pun saya failed. But, at least am trying..huahuahua...

While murtabak and kuih muih are brought from bazaar. Macam banyak ja kan makanan for two person. Tiapa.  Tidak habis nanti boleh panaskan for sahur esok pagi.

Fasting : Day 1

This year marked my 2nd year celebrate Ramadan as a Muslim and my 1st year as a wife. But unfortunately, this year I'm not allowed to fasting due to the pregnancy. Yela. Mau fasting pun macam tidak boleh ja sebab kejap-kejap lapar. Kesian baby nanti menguap-nguap kelaparan..ahaks!

Walau bagaimana pun, I still had to wake up as early as 3am to prepared sahur for my husband. Beza dengan last year where I only prepare for myself, maggie, plain water with kurma sudah mencukupi. Time tu, memang niat mau kurus..heee..But this time, I had to prepare more.

For day 1, we ate roti canai only for the sahur.. Cukup ka??.. Of coz la tidak. Kecian orang yang puasa. Saya yang tidak puasa pun rasa tidak kecukupan. Masa puasa hari pertama, we are stayed at KK. Ada kedai kaling ja yang berhampiran hotel yang kami stay. Plus, awal pagi lagi mana la ada selera makan berat-berat macam nasi kan.

Since makan ala kadar ja for sahur, so revenge balik time berbuka. Ikan bakar (rm4) + Satay Ayam and daging (rm9) + Kuih muih (rm3). Semua ni borong di bazaar Ramadan Beaufort. Ikan bakarnya are very disappointing sebab half cooked (gerai tersebut otomatik  masuk reject list). We spent about rm28 for berbuka only plus air kelapa 2 botol each rm6 (singgah beli di Kimanis). Berbaloi or membazir?? *geleng-geleng kepala*

So, moral of the story, sila la and rajin-rajin la masak. Since its day 1, jadi boleh dimaafkan.

Baby's Room Makeover

There are only two rooms in the house. One is our bedroom and the other one is become our store room when we firstly moved here.But then, we decided to turn the store room to our baby's room.

We wants a simple room and not too stuffy and of course fits to our budget. While googling for idea, there's a few room's design that caught my attention.

So far, we done with the room's color. Unfortunately,it's didn't turn out exactly as what we expected. But, still the color is not disappointing.

The next steps is the furniture. We're still surveying online and offline.  We've been to few furniture store in the town but there's not much option. Not trying to be fussy, I want something that plain. But,it's a bit disappointing because most of them had cartoon picture on it, hello kitty, angry bird. Hadoiii.. pening and serabut saya tengok.

Since we already paint the wall with soft-pink-color, we've planned to stuff the room with something that bright and contrast or maybe just a plain white.

Let's Become Human A First

I stumble upon this one quote.

 I don't wish to become in middle of religious debate which for sure can't end in something good but am tired with what happened to our peoples these day, where religion becomes a political agenda. I still feel sorry for those who still judge others by religion. As for me, its doesn't matter if you are Muslim, Christian, Buddha or Hindus, all that matter is how you treat yourself and behave to the others because I believe no matter what the religion is, all taught us to be a good human being. We will never lose anything if we respect and be open to others beliefs. Cadbury?? Buried others Holy Books?? Many people these day are acted like God. *Sigh*

I was a Christian before convert to Islam and its never make me feel any difference. I mean I still have a good relationship with my parents and still ate at their place even we already aware that there many don't and do's after the convert. I'm so blessed to have such a understanding parents and never make me feel any less every time I came to visit them. I also still maintain a good relationship with my relatives and friends. Some people I've know had changed after they converted, mocking and suddenly become an 'enemies' to their former belief. Hmmm...whatever la.

Finally, its Friday. Its been a very tiring weeks. Tomorrow want to rest to the max. Happy Friday everybody!!

Theme Color

Since we already know the gender of my baby, now its time for decorating a baby's room. Jyeah!!.. Its the best part and I've been waiting months for this. Its can be somewhat stressful. So many decision to make, but we'll do it step by step.

We're currently residents at a company's quarters. It's an old wooden house with 2 bedroom, a bathroom, small kitchen and a living room, I guess its more than enough for us to start a small family. Plus, we only paid RM110 monthly excluding the utilities. We had make a small makeover to this house since we started living here.

Oya, we do the painting by ourselves and not a Nippon Expert. So, please ignore the painting yang tidak samarata..heee.. We done the painting job for two weeks as we only manage to do it on weekend.

As for the baby's room, we started by searching a suit color.But, firstly, we need to clean out the room before we can start to buy furniture and decoration item to the room. Previously, the room used to be a store room and its a bit messy.

 We decided to choose something that soft, pastel and unisex. But, still want to added a lil girly idea into the room. So, we choose rose maiden and fantasy violet. Hopefully, after we done the painting, the color will turn out exactly the same as what we saw in the brochure.

Hello June

Hello June.

Okay..okay..its might a bit late sebab sekarang mau tengah bulan sudah. A lot thing happened in this two weeks and I must say, June haven't being good to me so far.

I started this June with  fever, flu and sore throat for more than a week now. Suara pun masih serak-serak ella lagi. And, I'm losing some of my weight (jyeahh!!). Sounds like a good news to me as I'm trying to maintain my weight to not go above 60kg. Sekarang ni pun berat saya hampir-hampir di hujung tanduk sudah... -_-

Okay, okay. Silly me.  I shouldn't be happy about that because the lil cutie inside my womb need foods. Maybe I need to eat more since one of my office mate once asking me if I control my makan sebab dia nampak macam saya tidak selalu makan ni..huahuahua..

Month of Audit. Really. I hate audit. Today, there will be 3 days for SEMS Audit. Last week baru ja audit 5S. Last last week plak audit PSI. Muak sampai saya mau cari jobs yang tiada audit. Any??!! Oo..Oo.. I forgot that I already made promises to myself to stop complaining about my dayjob, work, place and so whatever. Belajar la bersyukur dengan apa yang ada.

Junior Saving Account

Having a short but deep conversation with husband today. He told me how he regret and had to missed the opportunity to further his studies and dream to enter Universities due to financial problem. I felt so sorry for him. From there I realize how important for us to start a saving now to avoid financial difficulties in the future. Tidak boleh hanya bergantung kepada PTPTN semata-semata.

Since pregnant ni, banyak benda yang saya sudah planned to do when baby lahir nanti. Sekarang  baby jadi priority utama. I started putting pennies into my Bear Bank.When its full (hopefully before my due), we will open a little saving account for our baby.

I've doing some research through the internet about saving account for the kids. Here's some of the junior account offered in our country:

Don't know which account yang okay. From above list, only Yippie yang saya familiar. And since di Beaufort ni hanya Maybank and Public Bank yang  ada on the list, maybe later I'll go there seeking for consultation.
