GoodBye 2014, Hello 2015

Less than 10 hours for the new year. How your year so far??  Talking about new year, for some people (including me) it is the time for the New Year's Resolutions. I had a long list of 2015 resolution but I will only blog about it later. Before the 2014 come to end, I want to compiled together all the thing that happened around me in 2014 in this 1 entry. I hadn't make any resolution for this year because I'm busy preparing for my wedding early this year. So, I had nothing to regret just because I haven't achieved anything yet. :p

Heres the highlights of thing that happen around me for the past 12 months.

I'M A WIFE

Yes! I'm official a wife. I'm married to my office colleague and a bestfriend of mine on last January 4th. We're started as a friend and coupled for more than a year before we decided to tie the knot. It was a small ceremony attended by family, relatives and friends. Ooh! I realize that I haven't blog anything about that event. Maybe later. Maybe not..hahaha.

I'M A MOMMY

The greatest thing ever happen into my life is when I give a birth to this lil munchkin, Adriana. She's born premature, a few days before Eid-ul Fitr. Being a mom is a amazing thing but it need a hard work to work it.  The 1st few month will be exhausting and overwhelming mostly for 1st time mother like me. Since I'm a working mom, I find some difficulties to balance my time, as an employee, a mom and a wife. Honestly, I only managed to do house cleaning on weekend or holidays and with some helps from my husband. After my working hours, I usually spent the rest of the night taking care of Adriana's needs. Adriana's schedule is my schedule when she at home. When Adriana sleep, I will sleep. When she's awake, I'm awake also. Its tiring to wake up a few time in the middle of the night. But ya, I can't complaint since its already written in every parents's job description.

ADRIANA'S AQIQAH 

Aqiqah is one of the  sunnah in Islam in celebrating the birth of a newborn. An aqiqah involves the sacrifice of two animals for a boy and one for a girl, with a portion of the meat to be distributed to the poor and needy. A new thing and experience to me. Selama ini hanya attend aqiqah kawan-kawan tapi this time for anak sendiri. I'm glad that relatives from my husband side are very helpful. They do all from A to Z. We only pay for the cost and prepare Adriana for the ceremony.

2014 has probably been the best year in my life. Within 52 weeks, I've changed into few status. From a single lady to married woman to a mother of a daughter. But I bet there will be so much to look forward in the year to come. And I'm ready for it.

Bidding farewell to great year 2014 now and welcoming the amazing-to-be 2015.
